Collection: Resins

Natural incense resins are harvested from trees and burned to create sacred spaces, the same way they have been in churches, temples and private meditation practice for thousands of years. Unlike sticks or cones, resin is incense in its most unprocessed form, raw tears and granules rather than a pressed, shaped product.

Resins like frankincense, myrrh, copal and dragon's blood are burned on a lit charcoal disc rather than lit directly. As the charcoal heats, the resin slowly melts and releases its full, unaltered fragrance into the air, richer and more concentrated than the same scent in stick or cone form.

Because resin burning takes a little more setup than lighting a stick, it's often reserved for deeper ritual work, meditation, and ceremony, moments where the process itself becomes part of the experience, not just the fragrance at the end of it.
